2014 Opel Mokka takes All-wheel Drive Car of the Year award for 2nd time
The Opel Mokka was the number one readers’ choice in the Auto Bild Allrad awards, retaining its All-wheel Drive Car of the Year title in the "Off-road vehicle and SUV up to 25,000 Euros" category. The Mokka polled 18.7% oft he vote, putting it clearly ahead of the Škoda Yeti (14.6%) and the Nissan Qashqai (12.4%).
2014 ADAM wins Readers Choice in Mini segment
In the 38th Readers’ Choice Award of the highly respected German auto motor und sport, magazine the ADAM won with 24.2 percent of the votes in the mini car category, defeating the VW Up (23.9%) and the Mini (16.6%).

2013 Opel retains Plus X Award for Most Innovative Brand
Opel voted Most Innovative Brand for the third time after 2010 and 2012. Outstanding models and technologies impressing an international jury of experts gained a total of 21 seals of approval for Cascada, ADAM, Mokka and Zafira Tourer. 2013 Opel ADAM wins red dot design award
The Opel ADAM is the latest Opel model to receive the highly prestigious red dot Design Award. The 37 member international jury chose the highly original ADAM in the category Automotive & Transport, making it the fourth Opel product to be so honored since 2009.
2012 Opel Astra GTC wins red dot design award
The 30 judges on the red dot award panel praised the Astra GTC for “scoring points with its striking and sporty design” as it became the third Opel model to win one of these prestigious awards since 2009.
2012 Opel Zafira Tourer wins Golden Steering Wheel
For the 37th anniversary of the Golden Steering Wheel awards from the Auto Bild and Bild am Sonntag readers voted the revolutionary Opel Zafira Tourer, the lounge on wheels, winner of the van category. This is the third time the Zafira has won this important award following triumphs in 1999 and 2005.

2011 AFL wins Euro NCAP Advanced Award
In recognition of the massive safety improvement in dark or bad visibility conditions the European New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) awarded the Opel Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL) system an Advanced Award. This is the second NCAP Advanced Award, following the 2010 award for the Opel Eye system.
