The powerful silhouette is accentuated by the muscular and flowing bodywork, including a “blade” shape chiseled into the side. The smooth sculpted shape beckons to be driven.

The rear of the vehicle extends gracefully into the flowing, powerful lines of the coupe-like roofline. Here design has achieved a harmony that allows the mid-sized Opel to appear both muscular and elegant.

Opel Insignia is designed with an holistic thoroughness so detailed that even suspension components have been aerodynamically optimized. Resulting in one of the lowest drag coefficient in its class.

The interior design of the Opel Insignia themes echo on the flowing lines and soft curves that characterize the exterior styling. The skill and refinement that has been invested in the Opel Insignia is evident in every detail of the interior.

The elegant yet sporty design combined with high quality surfaces, chrome accents and bolder colors welcomes and embraces the occupants, while also meeting the highest standards in ergonomics and comfort.

All main surfaces are textured with “soft touch” materials, giving the cabin a premium tactile quality. The top front fascia panel is a continuous arc that flows into the shaped door moldings, lending the cabin a wide and spacious ambience. The steep rake of the windshield has allowed the front passenger airbag to be accommodated without compromising space for a large glove box.

The increased size of the body allows more overall interior space.
