Confident performance and fuel efficiency are integral characteristics of all ECOTEC® engines in Opel Insignia. The engine is Euro 5 certified and mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions.
Petrol engines
The Insignia petrol engine is a 2.0 Turbo ECOTEC® with 162 kW (220 hp).
Transmissions
All Opel Insignia transmissions are 6-speed. The automatic transmission weighs just 94 kg and features ActiveSelect® for sequential shifting. The exceptional precision and technology of the transmissions help deliver the optimum in fuel efficiency together with maximum driving enjoyment and satisfaction.
